The Allergy and Clinical Immunology Society (Singapore) is an independent professional society in Singapore with the following objectives:
- To advance the knowledge and practice of medicine in the fields of allergy and clinical immunology
- To promote research in the Republic of Singapore in allergy and clinical immunology
- To organize scientific discussions, workshops, symposia and conferences related to allergy and clinical immunology
- To acquire, establish, print and publish books, magazines, periodicals, leaflets or other literary or scientific works that the Society may think desirable for the promotion of its objectives
- To receive cash, bonds or share certificates from any person so disposed on behalf of the Society and also to raise money so derived for the purpose of enhancing the teaching, study and research in allergy and clinical immunology
Membership
Membership is open to those who are interested in allergy and clinical immunology and who are
- medical practitioners registered (including provisional
and conditional registrants) with the Singapore Medical Council
working in the Republic of Singapore - scientists working in the Republic of Singapore
- research workers working in the Republic of Singapore
- registered allied health professionals working in
Singapore e.g. nurses.
